What's the difference between Tint & Stain?Brow Tint is semi-permanent that primarily stains only the hair. This add-on is best for clients who have fuller brows or for those looking for a natural, temporary color to their brow hairs. It lasts up to 3 days on the skin, and up to 2 weeks on the hair. Brow Stain is a long lasting eyebrow dye that specifically targets the hair AND skin. Formulated with henna, this service is best for clients that desire a long lasting, rich color, and definition to their brows. Stain lasts up to 10+ days on the skin, and up to 6+ weeks on the hair. Both Tint and Stain shades and level of darkness can be customized to your liking.

What is a Lash Lift? The lash lift procedure has revolutionised old, inadequate perming techniques. Using silicone pads instead of perm rods, this new technique can lift, straighten or curl, and lengthen your own natural lashes to create a brighter, fuller, wide eyed look. No need for extensions and the associated aftercare, this will last you 6-8 weeks and can be combined with a tint to leave the mascara behind.
-
Does the Lash Lift procedure hurt?No the procedure is totally painless. You will have your eyes closed for the entire treatment and although it may feel a little strange being unable to open your eyes for this time, it offers you a chance to relax during the treatment.
-
Will the Lash Lift damage my natural lashes? No. We pride ourselves on being carefully trained and skilled professionals to ensure proper Lash Lift procedures are followed.
-
How long does a lash lift take?A lash lift can take anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour from beginning to end, and a bit longer if you decide to have your eyelashes tinted which will enhance the effect of your lash lift.
-
How long will a Lash Lift last?A Lash Lift can last 6-8 weeks but can vary from person to person. There is no need for any maintenance appointments in between but you will need to have the process repeated every 6-8 weeks to lift the new hair growth. There are some situations that may cause the lift to drop/weaken prematurely such as swimming, use of harsh products or heat. If you find that your lift does not last the full 2 months, you can repeat the treatment after a minimum of 4 weeks of having the initial treatment, but not before.
-
Can I wear makeup after my lash lift?Yes but it is advised that you leave your lashes untouched for at least 24 hours after your treatment. You may find that there is no need for mascara anyway, but if you wish to make your lashes even fuller, a non-waterproof mascara is advised as the removal of waterproof mascaras can be harsh on the lashes and weaken the lift.
-
Can I use an eyelash curler? No. There will be no need for an eyelash curler as this treatment gives a much better result than using a curler, But more importantly, using one may weaken and damage your lashes.
-
How often can I have a lash lift?A lash lift will begin to naturally drop after about 2 months and your lashes will be back to their natural look. The lashes should drop evenly and will not look out of place. You can repeat the treatment after a minimum of one month if you feel you need to, or you can wait until they are back to their natural state.

What is the main difference between sugaring and waxing?Sugaring is an organic paste made for those who prefer organic, natural, and gluten-free approaches to life. It’s a great alternative for clients with allergies or sensitive skin. Sugaring is heated to room temperature, while waxing needs to be warmer to remove hair. In terms of technique, sugaring paste is molded onto the skin using a gloved hand then removed, while wax can be used with a strip or alone. Sugaring is applied opposite of hair growth, and removed in the direction of hair growth, while waxing is the applied in the direction of hair growth and removed against hair growth. Sugaring is also able to remove shorter hair—it only has to be 1/16th of an inch—than waxing can, as to get waxed your hair has to be at least a half-inch.
-
Is sugaring painful?Sugaring is a form of hair removal. Keep in mind that the level of pain depends on the pain threshold of the individual. Some tolerate either technique well, and results really depend on each individual and their specific skin type.
